I do not recommend duckweed unless you know what you're getting into, it is a super plant. Using an eheim skimmer will suck out the duckweed if you would like to easily get rid of it. Low quality surface skimmers don't work as well for me. Otherwise this is a great food and protein source. Sizes are based on lightly packing the duckweed together in a wad the size of a golf ball or softball. Duckweed will arrive floating on water in bag to maximize it's chances of surviving shipping.
